Oristano, a woman's car destroyed by flames: investigations in progress

A car was destroyed by flames last night in Donigala, near Oristano . The fire could be of malicious origin, the police are investigating the episode .

The alarm went off shortly after midnight in the internal area of a condominium in via Eugenio Sanna where the Alfa Romeo 159, belonging to a woman of Polish origins, was parked. The flames engulfed the car in a few minutes, and the residents immediately raised the alarm.

The firefighters of the provincial command arrived on site but despite the timely intervention the Alfa Romeo was destroyed. The firefighters after putting out the fire, made the area safe and started the investigations.

At the moment no traces of ignition have been found , but arson cannot be excluded due to the way in which the fire developed. The police are investigating.
