Sinnai, show in the square with “su fogadoni de Sant'Antoni” and “is cerbus”

In a crowded Church Square, the ritual of "Su fogadoni de sant'Antoni" was repeated this evening in Sinnai, which has its roots in time and which is proposed in various towns in Sardinia after mid-January.

The party started early this morning with the preparation of the bonfire even in the rain. The weather conditions improved since the early afternoon allowing the lighting of the fagots and logs arranged by very skilled hands.

At 7pm there was the blessing, then the lighting with "su fogadoni" which illuminated Piazza Chiesa for a long time, also causing the temperature to rise. It was organized by the Municipality of Sinnai with the Is cerbus association, which proposed the parody of deer hunting (typical Sinnai carnival mask). All under the eyes of a curious and cheering crowd, with the tasting of boiled broad beans and a musical show offered by the "Su beranu" group.
