New investigating judge hearing next Tuesday in Tempio on the case of Silvana Gandola, the 78-year-old Piedmontese pensioner who disappeared into thin air on 28 March 2021 after a walk in the countryside of Vignola (Aglientu). In spring 2022 a hunter found the skull and a few other remains of Silvana Gandola not far from the place where the pensioner had been seen by her carer before her disappearance.

The family of the elderly woman, assisted by a pool of lawyers and consultants, for the second time opposed the request for dismissal (presented by the Tempio Prosecutor's Office) of the file opened for the crime of murder against unknown persons.

The pensioner's daughter, Laura Rizzi, believes the hypothesis of third-party responsibility in the disappearance and death of her mother is well founded and has gathered new elements on what happened three years ago. Satellite photos will be provided to the judges which would deny the presence of the pensioner and the caregiver in Vignola on 28 March 2021.
