Sick healthcare, the anger of the Oristano area: «Primary care eliminated. And it will get worse."

Healthcare in Sardinia is sick. In the Oristano area, thousands of citizens were left without basic basic assistance. Anyone who has a problem is forced to contact the doctor or the emergency room. And those structures get clogged.

The alternative, to get a recipe, is Ascot: «But the other day I arrived at 6 in the morning. I had number 30. I waited until 6pm."

The story is from one of the participants in the popular assembly organized by the Coordination of the Sardinian committees for the protection of public health and the Committee for the Right to Health of the Province of Oristano, which took place in Terralba.

And the situation is destined to get worse. More doctors will leave in the coming months.
