Sestu, worker arrested for growing marijuana on his land

A greenhouse with 17 plants and over 19 kilos of marijuana .

This is what the Carabinieri of Sestu found in the countryside of the town, in the Scala Sa Perda area .

A 44-year-old man, a local worker, was arrested for cultivation and possession of narcotics. During targeted checks, officers discovered him on his farmland.

Seventeen cannabis indica plants were seized, two already cut and in the process of drying, weighing over 19 kilograms. During the search, several pre-packaged marijuana packages were also found, ready for sale.

The man was placed under house arrest .
