Sestu, attacked in the car: "Give me your phone and bag". She accelerates and leaves him empty-handed

A Malian citizen was arrested for attempted robbery of a motorist in Sestu.

The young man, 28 years old from Malian, went into action at the intersection between Cagliari and Cavour streets . The car of the victim, a 52-year-old worker from Sestu, who had a friend beside her, stopped at the stop.

The attacker slipped his right hand into the passenger compartment of the car, grabbing the driver by the hair and ordering her to hand him the phone and bag. But she accelerated, managing to escape the grip and leaving him empty-handed .

Then the complaint was made to the local police station, who in record time tracked down and arrested the man, residing in Quartu.

The young man, who appeared before the judge, was sentenced to 18 months in prison with parole. Immediately after the hearing in Cagliari he was released from prison.
