The hunting trip nearly turned tragic. A hunter was injured after being attacked by a wild boar in the Seneghe mountains. He was immediately rescued and taken to San Martino Hospital, but his life is not in danger.

According to an initial reconstruction, the 70-year-old from Seneghe was on a hunting trip with his companions in the local countryside when the accident occurred : a wild boar charged him, hitting him in the abdomen.

The man, a retired forest ranger, collapsed in pain and shock. His companions immediately reached him, and emergency services were alerted. The injured hunter, after receiving initial treatment on the scene, was taken to San Martino Hospital.

Initial findings revealed that the 70-year-old suffered significant chest trauma. He underwent further tests, but his condition does not appear to be particularly worrying.
