The mayor of Burcei has issued a formal warning to Enel Distribuzione due to ongoing power outages . The town is experiencing severe disruption, with power also being cut off for several hours yesterday morning.

Customers immediately protested, and then the Municipality took a stand. "In Burcei," Mayor Marcello Malloru said, "Enel's constant outages are no longer tolerable: power cuts in and out without warning, heating failures, boilers intermittently shutting down, families stuck at home in the cold, especially on weekends, children, the elderly, and the sick in distress, equipment damaged, with the costs borne by residents. This situation has simply become unsustainable. We demand the immediate restoration of a stable power supply with urgent and decisive technical intervention on the Burcei electricity grid. We also demand compensation for affected users . The citizens of Burcei have the right to an essential, continuous, and safe service. The Municipality will not stand by and watch. We will continue to protect our community at every level."

A problem that has been ongoing for several years, causing significant damage. Pressure has been applied to the company in the past, but hasn't yielded any concrete results. "Power goes out without warning. Often with significant damage," said one user. "It happened again today, with several businesses shutting down for four hours.
