Hit by a car while crossing a pedestrian crossing.

It happened in Selargius, in via Gallus, to a 62-year-old nurse, who was then transported by 118 to the Monserrato Polyclinic with "significant injuries" to her bones.

The driver of the car that hit the woman, a 47-year-old from Cagliari, raised the alarm and stopped to provide first aid together with a passer-by.

The road surveys were not carried out, as no one, in the circumstance, bothered to alert the police.

The Carabinieri, however, once informed of the facts, started investigations to reconstruct the dynamics of what happened, sending a report to the Cagliari Prosecutor's Office.

The woman who was behind the wheel risks being held liable for road injuries.
