Scooter crash on 554, two minors in serious condition

Extremely serious road accident this morning on the 554 between Selargius and Monserrato .
Two very young students from Elmas who were traveling on board a Honda were involved. The driver, 17 years old , lost control of the vehicle which crashed into the guardrail. The young man and his friend, a 16-year-old fellow villager who was traveling behind him, were violently thrown onto the asphalt.
The first was taken to Brotzu where he is hospitalized in intensive care ; the second ended up at the Polyclinic under code red .
The 118 ambulances and the Carabinieri of the Quart mobile radio unit were on site and carried out the legal investigations to reconstruct the dynamics.
Traffic was at a standstill for some time, waiting for the vehicle to be removed and the investigations to be completed.
