The trial of three state police officers and another person for facts dating back to the period 2013-15 ended this evening in court in Sassari with 4 convictions . The panel, chaired by Elena Meloni, alongside Monia Adami and Francesco de Giorgi, pronounced the sentence.

Five years and 2 months for Gianluca Serra , defended by the lawyers Nicola Satta and Giuseppe Masala, accused of corruption, embezzlement and ideological falsehood; 4 years and 2 months instead for Marco Fenu , accused of corruption and embezzlement and assisted by the lawyer Carlo Foddai. Pier Franco Tanca , who was only accused of ideological falsehood, was sentenced to 1 year and was defended by lawyers Gianluigi Poddighe and Paolo Spanu. Finally, four years for Maurizio Allocca , whose lawyer was Marco Palmieri, who ended up on trial because he allegedly acted as guarantor in the sale of narcotic substances.

The incidents contested for Serra and Fenu are two in particular: having taken 5 thousand euros from a drug dealer's home in 2014 during an operation aimed at searching for drugs . Amount that they would have shared with the author of the tip . The second would have concerned the attempted seizure of heroin from a non-EU pusher, again following a report from the same person who, in exchange, would have received part of the narcotic substance.
