Sassari, palms on fire: the firefighters intervene

In Sassari, two fires in a few hours in via Padre Zirano , next to the bus station. Practically at the same spot where the firefighters had put out a fire on Tuesday afternoon, a new alarm was recorded.

Probably due to the large amount of heat accumulated by the previous fire some very tall palm trees caught fire .

The flames spread to the undergrowth and the men of 115 had to intervene once again, who struggled not a little to extinguish the fire , which was lit at 20.30 and was extinguished around 22, thanks also to the help of ladder trucks and reinforcements. Obviously the smoke produced by the combustion alarmed the residents, but there was no harm to people .
