Sassari: Marijuana and cocaine found in car: reported

The unmistakable odor of marijuana coming from the car gave them away. Three thirty-year-olds, stopped recently by the Sassari traffic police along State Road 127 for a routine check, were detained and searched. One of the trio admitted to carrying the drug in his backpack. Officers found it in a clutch bag with several packages containing approximately 10 grams of cannabinoids, cocaine, and a precision scale.

The items found were seized and subjected to forensic analysis, which tested positive for cocaine and cannabinoids. The person in possession of the drugs was reported to the judicial authorities for possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking.
