Mohamed Abdou Elchodary had been causing trouble in various areas of Olbia for weeks: he often carried a knife and allegedly injured several people after trivial arguments. The toll was ultimately paid by Barletta-born street artist Pietro Sciusco , who, according to investigations by the Tempio Pausania Prosecutor's Office, had the misfortune of encountering Mohamed Abdou Elchodary early Tuesday afternoon in Olbia.
An alarming picture emerges from the investigation into the Corso Umberto crime . Mohamed Abdou Elchodary was an aggressive and out-of-control individual, as were the young man who, on February 10th, wielding a pair of scissors, injured two people and killed a dog, and the man responsible for the stabbing of four customers inside a restaurant, an incident that occurred in early September, just a few dozen meters from where Pietro Sciusco was killed. All these incidents occurred in Olbia.
Elchodary was examined by a doctor, at the specific request of prosecutor Noemi Mancini, and it emerged that the twenty-year-old Egyptian had injuries that were not the result of the argument with Sciusco, but rather from previous incidents in Olbia. In one case, the Carabinieri were also involved. Elchodary also allegedly disturbed the filming of the movie "Grown Ups 3" : the set had been set up in the heart of Olbia.
The young Egyptian will be questioned tomorrow at 11 a.m. by Tempio Pausania investigating judge Federica Di Stefano, assisted by defense attorneys Aurora Masu and Giuseppe De Meo.
