Disguised as a doctor, she entered the Neurology department of the Aou hospital in Sassari in an attempt to steal some of the patients' personal belongings. A double theft attempt, probably aimed at stealing objects or drugs, was foiled the other night in the Neurology department, on the first floor of Palazzo Clemente.

The woman was wearing a surgical gown and cap and entered the health facility twice. The staff on duty at the time promptly identified the fake health worker, who had first passed herself off as an employee of the Health Management, but this did not convince the guard staff present in the department.

The woman attempted to enter the department twice on the same night, between Thursday 26th and Friday 27th, and then ran away. The medical staff, in addition to promptly notifying the security service, also requested the intervention of the police. "At the moment - the doctor on duty reported - there have been no damages or thefts of property belonging to either patients or health workers. Furthermore, there have been no thefts of drugs (kept under lock and key as per regulations) or other devices".

The doctor on duty also filed a formal complaint with the State Police of Sassari. The general management, after the department's report, started the procedures for the acquisition of images recorded by the surveillance cameras present inside Palazzo Clemente with the aim of identifying the woman.
