It was not a sudden hemorrhage that killed Giovanna Satta, the 25-year-old girl from Padru who died last week in the Gynecology and Obstetrics ward of Aou in Sassari while giving birth to her third daughter.

This was established by the autopsy carried out this afternoon by the consultants appointed by the deputy prosecutor of Sassari, Paolo Piras, and by the partisan experts appointed by the young woman's family.

For now, a cause can therefore be ruled out, but to ascertain which ones caused the death we will have to wait for the in-depth analysis of the analyzes carried out today.

Giovanna Satta, already a mother of two children, was in the sixth month of a difficult and risky pregnancy. She died the night between 10 and 11 October, after a caesarean section.

The surgery seemed to have gone well, but her mother died a few hours later. It was initially thought to be due to a hemorrhage, now excluded from the autopsy.
