Sassari, body in an abandoned farmhouse

Macabre discovery late yesterday evening in an abandoned farmhouse, in via Papa Giovanni XXIII, in the link road leading to the Latte Dolce district of Sassari.

The body of a man was found in an advanced state of decomposition and without documents, elements that have not currently allowed us to define his identity, age and date of death. The death allegedly occurred from natural causes, but the police proceed to court to unravel the fog on the yellow of death and understand if there may be other causes.

The carabinieri and the forensics also intervened on the spot for the necessary examinations and investigations. At the disposal of the magistrate on duty, the body was transferred to the Institute of Forensic Pathology to be subjected to a first necropsy. The body is available to the coroner who will arrange for an autopsy in the next few hours.

The alarm was triggered after a report: the health workers who had notified the incident to the police had intervened on the spot.
