The episode took place last night around 8pm , in one of the areas that was not very popular at that time. The 46-year-old man attempted to rape a 20 -year-old girl, but was stopped thanks to the timely intervention of a passerby.
The girl , while walking in via Sant'Apollinare, was grabbed by the arm by the attacker who shouted violent verbal advances at her. The young woman screamed and asked for help , attracting the attention of a 55-year-old who was passing on that road at the time. He saw the girl trying to defend herself from the attacker, then alerted the state police, managing to block the 46-year-old and handing him over to the flying squad officers who arrested him.
