The donation is «the result of a fundraising campaign», explained the president of the Sassari Nord Rotary club, Evelyn Pittalis , «which involved private companies, associations, artists and over a thousand anonymous donors who contributed with great enthusiasm and they were indispensable for achieving the result."
The project is linked to the "Innamorata di vita" initiative which deals with and worries about women both from the point of view of breast cancer prevention and from the point of view of support and which aims to create in healthcare facilities a "dignity room" in which wigs can be made available free of charge for patients undergoing therapy. «I thank the structure that hosts us and all those who allowed this donation», said the Governor of District 2080 of Rotary International Maria Carla Ciccioriccio, «which reflects the spirit that Rotary has of being able to make, in its own small way, a contribution which is significant for us and, as a woman, fills me with pride."
