Twelve migrants, including 11 men and one woman, landed on the coast of Sarroch last night. The Carabinieri of the local station tracked them down.

The migrants, without documents, are all adults and of Tunisian nationality. The military found them on state road 195, not far from the landing site.

During the operation, the carabinieri found and seized the vessel used to reach the coast of the island. It is a fiberglass boat of about three meters by one and eighty, equipped with a 30 horsepower Suzuki outboard motor.

The men and the woman were found to be in good health and were all accompanied to the reception centre in Monastir .
