Santa Teresa Gallura, hiker in difficulty: saved in the night by the Alpine Rescue

Intervention by the Alpine and Speleological Rescue of Sardinia, yesterday evening around 11 pm, to rescue a hiker in difficulty in the Valle della Luna , in Santa Teresa Gallura.
It was the woman, a 40-year-old resident of the place , who launched the alarm : a Georesq central operator contacted her by sending her an SMS locator, a message that, if opened by the recipient, allows to locate her position, an operation which unfortunately was not successful. In the meantime, 6 technicians immediately moved from the Sassari station who managed to identify the woman and, after noting that she was unable to continue independently, they stabilized, embarked and transported her with the sedan technique to the parking lot.
Also on site is the ambulance of the Misericordia of Santa Teresa Gallura .
The intervention ended at 2.30 in the morning.
