He buys an old ruin in San Vito to renovate it and finds inside a briefcase full of explosive material .

The protagonist, despite himself, is a 47-year-old from Nurri , the new owner of a house in ruins. During the work, the man discovered an old briefcase with faded writing and immediately became suspicious, calling 112.

The Carabinieri from the San Vito station intervened on site this morning along with the bomb squad of the Anti-sabotage Unit of the Carabinieri Operations Department of Cagliari : the first to circumscribe and secure the area, the second to clean up the house.

In the briefcase there were about fifty primer capsules for hunting cartridges, a piece of slow-burning fuse, over two ounces of mine powder, used for the extraction and processing of blocks of rock, and more than three ounces of explosive dust mixed with inert material.

The bomb squad cleared the house without incident and took charge of the seized material, so as to destroy it safely .

Sigh of relief for the homeowner for the quick resolution of the problem.
