A 56-year-old farmer from Samatzai sued for personal injury after his dog attacked and bit a passer-by.

The man, as the owner of the animal, a large Maremma shepherd, must answer for the lack of custody.

The dog has in fact escaped his control, throwing himself at a 40-year-old surveyor who was walking down the street in the center of the village, and then biting his calf. For his injuries, the man ended up in the Nuraminis medical guard, where he was assigned a 7-day prognosis.

But, given the size of the animal, the toll could have been much more serious.

After the alarm, the carabinieri started investigations, tracing the owner.
