On the eve of April 28, the anniversary of the "Sardinian Vespers" of 1794, the Sardinnia Aresti collective organized a symbolic garrison in front of the military headquarters in via Torino in Cagliari. And tomorrow, at 2 pm, a procession is scheduled in Villasor that will move towards the Decimomannu air base.
The motto of the initiative is "Gherrausu impari po una Sardinna libera", or "Let's fight together for a free Sardinia".
The latest military exercises on the island are in the sights, from Open Sea to Noble Jump to Join Stars. «Sardinia - denounces the movement - is certainly not new to the occupation of its territory by the NATO armies. However, following the outbreak of the conflict in Ukraine, war training activity on our island has significantly intensified. Three exercises have been planned for this spring and we can already observe the enormous arrival of men and vehicles on our coasts and in our streets, even outside the areas permanently occupied by the military, so much so that it is not an exaggeration to speak of a real own invasion".
