Another person of the twelve arrested on 3 October following the blitz of the Sassari municipal police in the Roma camp of Piandanna, now evacuated, was released yesterday but with the obligation to stay.
The man joins the other four suspects who, on October 21, received the same measure from the Court of Freedom of Sassari while house arrest and the obligation of an electronic bracelet were ordered for a fifth.
The new decision came from the panel chaired by judge Antonio Spanu, alongside Monia Adami and Paolo Bulla after the petition presented by defense lawyers Marco Palmieri, Gianmario Fois and Marco Salaris.
The other six accused of illegal waste trafficking, construction and management of an illegal landfill, transport and trade of hazardous and non-hazardous waste remain with Bancali. The owner of the file is the prosecutor Maria Paola Asara.
