A handful of minutes, just enough to make use of the right not to respond. The interrogation lasted a long time this morning for Angelo Mulas and Matto Sanna, the two men from Oliena accused of the attempted robbery three days ago at the post office in Brunella, a hamlet of Torpè which was foiled by the police.

The investigating judge of the Nuoro court, Giovanni Angelicchio, validated the arrest of Mulas (defended by the lawyer Giuseppe Floris) arrested immediately by the military who intervened for a report of suspicious movements, confirming his house arrest with the electronic bracelet. Validation of the arrest also for Sanna, a fellow villager of Mulas, who initially managed to escape into the countryside, but after a massive manhunt ended up in prison. The investigating judge, at the request of the lawyer, the lawyer Sebastiano Costa, granted Sanna, who had ended up in prison in Badu and Carros since Friday, house arrest with an electronic bracelet.

Mulas immediately surrendered but Sanna, in an attempt to escape arrest, threw himself into the vegetation when he saw the police. The two had been surprised by the soldiers of Siniscola's company as they were about to cross the entrance to the post office, shortly after midday. From that moment on, a manhunt was born, with dozens of soldiers who, in an attempt to catch the fugitive, had set up numerous checkpoints and even had the Army helicopter take off from Olbia.
