The objectives are twofold: to raise awareness among users of the importance of respecting the rules and to create awareness in the driver of having violated the speed limits as a result of the immediate notification of the offense: the "telelaser" in fact allows you to stop the driver who exceeds the speed limits at which the illicit conduct is immediately contested.

«The data on accident rates for the year 2023 - explain the local Police Command - record a worrying increase in the overall number of accidents, especially those which occurred in the urban area of the municipal territory. Among the triggering causes, distracted driving attributable to the reckless use of cell phones ranks first. The analysis of the data shows that the greatest number of accidents occurred along the traffic routes connecting the urban center and the suburbs and speed controls will be strengthened on these roads."

The growth in deaths along municipal roads compared to 2022 is particularly worrying; there were 9 fatal accidents.
