Rei swimming pool, swimmers find a turtle carcass: fenced area

The carcass of a turtle was found this morning by swimmers. The carcass was almost certainly pushed onto the sand by the sea waves: the area was immediately fenced off awaiting the recovery operation scheduled for tomorrow.

The swimmers were very curious: the discovery took place in the sea of Piscina Rei, in the Muravera area. Now experts are called to ascertain the cause of death.

In the past, on the entire Costa Rei, in Castiadas but also in Geremeas, on the coast of Maracalagonis and Quartu, several turtles have nested, and the hatching of the eggs has always been protected by environmental associations.
