It was the only remaining polling station in Italy where the vote in the constitutional referendum on justice reform had not been counted. Today, the Provincial Referendum Office, located at the Sassari Courthouse, completed the counting of the 246 ballots from Section 127 of the municipality of Sassari . The national result of the referendum became definitive almost 24 hours after the polls closed: out of 61,533 polling stations across Italy, the "No" vote received 53.74% of the vote, with 14,462,054 votes, while the "Yes" vote remained stable at 46.26%, with 12,447,781 votes (Eligendo data).

The problem at polling station 127 involved a single discrepancy between the number of ballots and the number of votes cast.

The municipal offices had diverted the package to the Provincial Referendum Office, to re-examine the votes and the polling station minutes and definitively validate the count, sending the final result to the Central Referendum Office.
