Rain, wind and snow: in Sardinia 150 interventions in 48 hours for the firefighters

Overwork for the fire brigade teams in Sardinia due to the damage caused by the wave of bad weather that hit Sardinia .

In two days, the 115 men carried out about 150 interventions from north to south of the island : from the removal of fallen plants on the road to assistance to people isolated by snow, from the safety of poles, unsafe trees, roofs and so on until you get to animal rescue.

There was also a large number of rescue operations for accidents involving cars and heavy vehicles on the roads in the areas affected by the snow.

In detail: around 80 were the interventions of the Cagliari Command, 40 those in Sassari, about twenty in Nuoro and 15 those of the Oristano Command.
