The boy, a university student, said he was approached by a North African migrant in the Marina district. The latter had asked him to borrow the phone for an important call but when he grabbed the cell phone he ran away. The young man chased him to Piazza Yenne where the thief punched him, thus causing him to lose track.

Now the carabinieri are collecting images of the video surveillance systems in the area to identify and track down the robber.
