Alessandra Mora, 55, school worker in love with Sardinia. She arrived from Gorizia last December 26th above all to discover the mountain, which yesterday played a bad joke on her .

The woman went on foot and alone from the Campuomu barracks to the Sentiero Italia 800, reaching the 7 brothers. On the way back she got lost. The carabinieri, the Alpine Rescue, the Forestry, the Fire Brigade and the volunteers who arrived with drones and lighthouses that pierced the darkness of the night mobilized for her.

Shortly before one in the morning she was found by three young hikers: Nicola Anedda, Fabio Perria and Claudia Tuveri. At dawn, the return to the hotel that hosts her, accompanied by two young people from the Alpine Rescue.

"I thank everyone - says the 55-year-old from Gorizia who tells about her misadventure -. Around me a wonderful sky of stars, truly extraordinary. Then a path, loneliness and even the cold. I went out with short sleeves, I only had a jacket to wear. trekking. I was in contact with the rescuers but I could not see them and I did not hear them. I spoke to the commander of the Quartu Company (Captain Gianni Russo, ed). Suddenly I noticed a flashlight in the woods, then three boys. I screamed and I was they found, interrupting the dialogue with the police officer ”.

Thus ended Alessandra Mora's nightmare evening. "The first to join me - he says - was Nicola Anedda. With him there were two friends, hikers who spent the night in these parts. All three were very kind, they realized that I was cold and lit the fire while waiting of the rescuers. I will remember them all. They were extraordinary, together with two boys who, almost at dawn, took me back to the Cagliari hotel where I am staying ".

On 6 January the woman will return home to Gorizia. Bringing with him "the enchantment of the starry sky on the 7 brothers" and the misadventure with a happy ending.
