CGIL, CISL and UIL in the square, tomorrow morning in Cagliari (starting at 10), to denounce the "very serious shortcomings of the regional health system".

The mobilization, entitled "Let's take care of Sardinia", focuses on the demand for quality health care that responds to the health and care needs of citizens.

From piazza Trento the procession will cross the city passing through viale Trieste, via Roma, via Sassari up to piazza del Carmine, where the interventions from the stage will alternate.

A document with eight points, which is the subject of the claims, is also ready.

The trade unions ask the President of the Region "for a table on Health to agree on priorities, initiatives and interventions aimed at guaranteeing care for all Sardinians, starting with the most fragile, elderly and non self-sufficient".

Many associations of patients from the voluntary sector and the third sector are already joining the event, which have responded positively to the letter sent by the trade unions to illustrate the reasons for the initiative and invite them to participate and share. These include Legacoop and social coop in the square, together with Agci and Confcooperative per la Sanità.

On the other hand, there will not be the Sardinian Public Health Defense Network which denounces "the concern that the huge funds arriving from Europe with the PNRR, if not used correctly, will not only not respond to the health needs of citizens, but will determine a high debt for future generations ".

For the trade unions "there is no adequate organization of services and not even socio-health planning in the area", a real "management chaos" that "affects all the structures, with a strong shortage of health workers".

CGIL, CISL and UIL also denounce the absence, "in many areas, of the minimum level of care, assistance and prevention, the shortage of general practitioners, medical guards or pediatricians".
