In a global context marked every day by increasingly complex and interconnected threats, security becomes an essential priority , requiring deep and shared reflection.

It is on the basis of this premise that the Security Festival opens today in Cagliari , promoted by the Vittorio Occorsio Foundation with the aim of creating a space for dialogue and discussion between institutions, companies, the academic world and citizens.

The chosen title, "Protecting the Future," recalls the main focus of this edition: the defense of energy infrastructure, increasingly exposed to physical and digital attacks, especially in war and terrorism scenarios . Ensuring its security means preventing supply disruptions, reducing environmental risks, and containing serious social impacts.

For two days, over 30 speakers from institutions, universities, and businesses will take turns ( SEE THE PROGRAM HERE ) discussing key security issues through panels, round tables, and workshops: from cyber resilience to the energy transition, from climate change to the fight against organized crime.

The Festival, held at the Manifattura Tabacchi (Viale Regina Margherita 33, entrance from Vico I, XX Settembre), is organized with the support of the Autonomous Region of Sardinia and the Fondazione di Sardegna, and with the media partnership of L'Unione Sarda.
