"No to cuts in schools": province, mayors and unions ask for a meeting in the Region
A shared battle, Oristanese cannot be penalized againAnother firm no to any cuts to school autonomy in the Oristano area came this morning from the provincial conference convened by the extraordinary administrator of the Province Battistino Ghisu to define the school sizing plan to be sent to the Region .
Strong opposition therefore to the suppression of a further school autonomy out of the 21 present as dictated by the ministerial guidelines . All the numerous mayors who spoke strongly expressed a negative opinion on the goodness of the school reorganization, conceived on the basis of a distorted logic tied only to numbers.
"With the suppression of an autonomy - states the extraordinary administrator Battista Ghisu - our province would be the most penalized and this is not acceptable".
A document will now be drawn up, to be presented to the Region and delivered before the Christmas holidays during a meeting that will be requested with the Public Education and Culture Commission of the Regional Council chaired by Camilla Soru.
A shared battle to convince everyone that Oristano cannot be penalized again. The delegation with local administrators, school directors and unions will be led by the same administrator of the Province Battista Ghisu.
