These are the words of the municipal councilor of Cagliari Marcello Polastri who, in addressing the Municipality of Cagliari and the Antinsects Division of the metropolitan city, has drawn up an editorial board to accompany, with a series of images, a specific request for pest control intervention.

According to Polastri, the most haunted place are the flower beds in Piazza Lao Silesu in which, "for days - argues Polastri - with the arrival of the great heat, near street number 1, numerous ticks have appeared which create a worrying danger for those who frequent this area".

Ticks that attach themselves to dogs in the area and which, according to some hypotheses, were carried by birds. "But it is also likely that there was a real hatching of eggs at the base of the weeds," some speculate.

According to Polastri, some mints have also appeared at the entrance of some buildings in the area.
