Of the night of January 14, Leonardo Manghina remembers only the before and after . The before, with him driving his Mercedes Class A on the Strada Statale 131, towards Sassari. The after, in a hospital bed, miraculously survived, but with an amputated foot and trauma to his pelvis and leg. In between, darkness. A void that now, more than a month after the accident, he would like to fill .

Manghina, 34, a chef from Sennori, decided to address directly those who were there that night, those who saw, those who called for help. He did so with an appeal on his Facebook page:

"I am addressing the people who witnessed the accident or saw me on the roadway afterwards and those who called for help. Anyone who has information about my accident should not hesitate to contact me."

The accident occurred around 1:30, near the Chighizzu tunnels, at the height of the cement factory. The consequences were dramatic: the surgeons of the Santissima Annunziata of Sassari had to perform a life-saving operation to stabilize him.

Now, in addition to his physical recovery, the thirty-four-year-old feels the need to reconstruct the missing pieces of that night. He wants to know what happened, he wants to understand. And he asks for help from anyone who can offer him a fragment of what happened .
