Murder in the night between Sunday and Monday in a bed and breakfast in via Nazionale in Quartucciu.

A 43-year-old born in Cagliari, but resident in Quartu, - Gabriele Pergola - was found lifeless around 5.

It appears that the man was completely naked, with a towel around his neck . The suspicion is that he may have been strangled.

After the alarm was raised, the carabinieri of Selargius, the operational unit and the mobile radio unit arrived and arrested the alleged murderer, Gabriele Cabras, a 20-year-old resident of Sinnai, already known to the police .

On the spot were Captain Pietro Lucania, Lieutenant Ignazio Cabras, the magistrate on duty and the coroner.

Investigations have begun to clarify the contours and motive of the crime.

According to an initial reconstruction, the crime would have occurred during a dispute. The young man would then have left, while the body was found by the managers of the structure

receptive, perhaps alarmed by the noise coming from

room. Rescue efforts, however, were useless.

After calling 112, the military then managed to track down and stop the 20-year-old.
