Carabinieri officers from the Quartu Sant'Elena Company's Operational and Mobile Unit arrested a 38-year-old unemployed man, already known to the police, for abusing his partner.

The intervention was triggered by a call for help to the Operations Center reporting yet another domestic dispute between the man and his live-in girlfriend . The officers reconstructed a pattern of violence and ongoing threats that, over time, had caused the woman to experience severe distress and fear for her safety.

The arrested man was taken to Uta prison by order of the judicial authorities.
