After the reports and protests by the residents, in Terra Mala and Salmagi, on the coast of Quartu Sant'Elena , the signs finally arrive prohibiting hunting close to homes . They had been expected since last winter since the mayor Graziano Milia had issued the ordinance which imposed the observance of the safety distances, set at 150 meters from the town.

There are 35 signs in total and were also placed following the recent inspection by the local police who had identified the exact points and sent the map to the offices which then proceeded to arrange them. It is hoped that now, from Sunday, the hunters will respect the rules so that the residents are no longer forced to barricade themselves at home on hunting days. The situation had already been reported last year. Groups of hunters fired too close to the houses so that the pellets had even lodged in the exterior window of a house.
