Head-on collision at the entrance to Alghero, traffic blocked on the main road

A head-on collision occurred this afternoon in Monte Agnese, on State Road 127 bis, at km 32, practically at the entrance to the city of Alghero.

A Volkswagen Golf and an SUV collided. Both drivers, aged 55 and 60, were transported to the emergency room by ambulance. Their injuries are not life-threatening.

The stretch of road was temporarily closed to traffic in both directions, and traffic was diverted onto municipal roads through the Carrabuffas area. Anas teams and law enforcement are on site to ensure traffic is managed safely and restored as quickly as possible.
