Twenty-eight temporary employees, another ten with fixed contracts . A breath of fresh air for the municipal offices where a chronic shortage of personnel has reigned for years. The new plan - financed with municipal and partly regional resources - was launched by the council in recent days.

In the meantime, the process for the first competitions reserved for the hiring of new permanent employees has started, after the two public selections held last year and concluded with the entry of two new managers - another is coming from the Municipality of Selargius - and as many stabilized.

« In 2023 11 employees will retire and we will hire 10 », underlines the deputy mayor, «we are more or less managing to equalize retirements with the new arrivals, but the goal remains that of increasing the number of personnel in service because the current organic plan is below the average that a Municipality like ours should have».
