At the end of very rapid investigations, the Carabinieri of the Mobile Radio Operations Department of the Quartu Company unmasked the alleged pirate driver who three nights ago collided with his car against a motorbike driven by a fifty-one-year-old worker from Quartu, who then ended up in hospital. An unemployed Nigerian has ended up under accusation, accused of injuries and failure to provide aid.

The investigations were coordinated by Captain Michele Cerri, commander of the Quartu Company, and by Captain Ignazio Cabras, commander of the Radiomobile Operations Department of the same Company in Via Milano.

A lightning investigation, also carried out with the collection of some testimonies and the examination of camera images. But above all with the car fragments that the Quartu police themselves collected during the first inspection of the accident site.

The military's attention was immediately focused on a car owned by a worker from Quartu that the men of the mobile and operational radio unit located in the Quartu countryside, after also checking some car parks in the city and searching several homes and garages.

The car later recovered in the countryside was damaged in some parts: the comparison with the car parts recovered in Viale Marconi dispelled all doubts: the recovered car was the one involved in the accident with the centaur in Quartu.

The owner would have lent it to the Nigerian, who would also have used it on the night of the accident, colliding with the Benelli motorbike of the 51-year-old from Quartia. The centaur ended up in hospital after a flight of several meters , suffering wounds that healed in a month.
