Quartu arrived well before Empoli. If in the Tuscan city the scandal of nurses secretly filmed while taking a shower in the women's locker room of the San Giuseppe city hospital exploded last May 27 (one hundred victims would be shot without their knowledge by a camera), in the third city of Sardinia for three years a similar episode had already been investigated, albeit smaller in numbers (five women immortalized without knowing it) and took place in a different context, which now comes to light with the act of closing the investigation notified to the alleged voyeur: the owner of a professional city firm in which several collaborators and several collaborators worked, five of which, having discovered what was happening in the bathroom, immediately resigned and filed a complaint. Now the man risks ending up on trial for "unauthorized access to a computer system", the crime challenged by the prosecutor Rossana Allieri.

The discovery

He, not even 50 years old (we do not publish the personal details to protect the identity of the victims), cornered by the employees, would have tried to minimize without obtaining any results. The angry women turned to the lawyers Annamaria Busia and Roberta Cannas and forwarded the report to the police by a very short return, explaining precisely what happened. Almost a copy of what was shown to the investigators by nurses, social health workers, laboratory technicians and doctors shot in Empoli: a small camera observed them while they were in the shower and sent the images to a monitor beyond the wall. In Quartu, a system had been set up in substance identical: a camera filmed the women in the bathroom and sent the videos to a cell phone locked in the desk drawer in the owner's office.

The surprise

One of the employees had discovered this when she noticed the presence, in a wall, of something protruding; approaching to look better, she realized that it was apparently an electronic eye. She had talked about it with her colleagues and, when the owner had gone off-site, she had worked hard with them to understand what was happening. Thus the wires and cell phone connections had come out, in whose memory images of girls using the services were kept. In addition there was a chat that the employer used to exchange photos with a clear risque tone, and there was the suspicion (the fear) that their images could also have been sent to other people.

the expertise

Upon receipt of the complaint, the prosecutor had ordered an expert opinion to ascertain the contents of the phone's memory and the use that had been made of it: the analysis revealed the presence of four or five images of women half-undressed, but not recognizable, and the 'inability to prove that the images have been sent to other people. After that the investigation was closed. The suspect, who is now awaiting the request for indictment, addressed the defense to the lawyer Alessandro Corrias.
