Among these there is S'imbrusciadura, a thaumaturgical ritual or the liberation of evil typical of the Campidano area of Cagliari, in fact very frequently in this area of the island extraordinary events occurred that required the help of women with therapeutic powers. . In the ritual a young woman struck by a big fright, represented by a figure representing evil, is healed by two healers called "brusciasa", who perform the healing by reciting invocative prayers (brebus) and performing the ritual de S'affumentu or smoking over the body of the unfortunate. Healing the unfortunate woman was then a reason to celebrate all together.
And then the ritual of argia, a sort of liberation from evil, in which a sort of spider, with its sting, causes the unfortunate person to feel very unwell, which was interpreted as a state of possession. To free the possessed from evil, the marital status of the argia was identified, that is, whether she was a widow, married or single, through dances and songs. Also in this case, once the evil was defeated, it was a great celebration.

And the same association, together with Boxis Campidanesas, will also be the protagonist of the Campidanese poetry workshop scheduled at 7 pm. The initiative, which pays particular attention to traditional compositions, also intends to involve young people in an art that has always fascinated many citizens, many of whom then also became protagonists of the island landscape, becoming in turn a source of inspiration.
The events scheduled as every week will be announced by 'su bandidori', which will go around the streets of the city, just as per ancient tradition.
