What kind of world has Giovanni Musu found himself living in over the past few months? Who are the "bad guys" he's encountered after a period when he seemed to have returned to a peaceful life? Was it a settling of scores or a trivial outburst at the end of an argument that began over trivial matters?

Investigations are underway into the drug world to identify the killer of the 53-year-old man from Carbonia. Throughout yesterday, several people were brought in for questioning, and searches were conducted both at the home where Giovanni Musu lived and at the homes of people who may have played a role in his death .

And drugs are the common thread in several crimes that took place in the mining town between the late 1980s and the early 2000s: from the death of Gisella Orrù in 1989 to the disappearance of Fabio Serventi, who vanished into thin air in 2020, passing through Antonio Fadda, Gianfranco Mascia, Massimiliano Pillittu and Sebastian Casula .

Musu was stabbed to death, one to the throat possibly fatal, and then set on fire in Rosmarino Park. The murder took place in front of a municipal security camera, which was turned off ; if it had been turned on, it would have captured every moment. Several syringes were found at the scene . The autopsy, already ordered by the Prosecutor's Office, will clarify the cause of the murder and determine whether the victim had taken drugs.
