The Olbia Local Health Authority is examining the records of the paid healthcare workers working in the emergency rooms of Gallura hospitals . These healthcare workers are provided by temporary employment agencies.

The Olbia Local Health Authority (ASL) offices reportedly conducted comprehensive background checks on doctors, the results of which, however, are confidential. The checks were initiated following internal reports. The employment relationship with a 63-year-old specialist from Campania was suddenly terminated . The doctor worked only a few hours in Gallura and immediately left the position. The temporary employment agency, at the ASL's request, no longer provided its services.

The professional is under investigation in his home region for a series of incidents, still unproven, that allegedly occurred while he was examining patients: they are said to be "acts detrimental to the victims' sexual freedom." As a precaution, the Olbia Local Health Authority has decided not to use the specialist's services.
