Quartu, devastating fire on the Molentargius

Devastating fire in the night on the Molentargius , territory of Quartu , at the height of via Lisbon.

The fire lit up the night for a long time: even pushed by a light wind it found it easy to get out of the bush causing serious damage .

Firefighters, foresters and volunteers have long fought against the flames visible throughout the area.

The Quartu carabinieri who started the investigations were also on site. It is feared that the fire is of arson .
