Enrico Pontis has awakened. The 42-year-old was in a coma on Friday night, in the Brotzu intensive care unit where he is hospitalized. He arrived in serious condition due to a bad head injury: he had fallen in the area of the sandwich vans outside the stadium, after the match between Cagliari and Turin, hitting his head. A fall that according to family members was caused by a punch to the face.

Rescued by the 118 staff, he was accompanied in code red to the emergency room of the Brotzu hospital in Cagliari and then transferred to intensive care. What happened in the area between the two northern curves, that of the Unipol Domus and that of the old Sant'Elia, must be reconstructed by the Police who interviewed several people and recovered the images from some cameras.

The 42-year-old's family members do not believe the fall was accidental and are looking for witnesses: "Anyone who has seen something contact us or contact the police." The Flying Squad officers intervened at the point where the man was rescued. But the policemen did not receive much cooperation from those present.
