Public health, away from Iglesias to the "march of health"

The "Health march for public health", organized by the regional secretariats of the CGIL, CISL and UIL retirees, starts from Iglesias to denounce the disastrous state of health services.

The initiative started at 10 from the Santa Barbara hospital and then continued up to the CTO. A colorful and noisy procession, led by the mayors of the area, also made up of health workers and many citizen-patients who deal with the heavy inconvenience due to the shortage of staff and downsizing of services. Chronic problems accentuated by the pandemic emergency.

The march will be repeated, in the next few days, in the territories of the other Asl.

Marco Grecu, Adalberto Farina and Rinaldo Mereu, secretaries of SpiCgil, FnpCisl and UrUilp respectively, make a specific request to the Region: "A concrete and effective discussion is opened with the Council, also in the light of the NRP which provides for substantial financial resources to be allocated to public health for telemedicine and the creation of local health and social structures, with ease of access to services and continuity of care ".
